Welcome to the Lyle Craigs Hill Walking Club's new web site.
The Lyle craigs Hill Walking Club is based in Inverclyde (i.e. Greenock, Gourock, Port Glasgow etc) and here you'll find all you need to know about our club including how to join, details of our forthcoming programme, photos of our recent trips and a guestbook for you to tell us what you think.
Anyone wishing to join us on our walks should meet at the Westburn Centre across from Tesco at 8am on the day. You should bring waterproof trousers, jacket, fleece, gloves, hat, spare socks, sturdy boots, rucksack with food for lunch on the hills, and spare clothes to change into for coming home. Also map and compass of area intending to visit.
We usually do mountains that take 4 or more hours so a fairly decent level of fitness is required. However, you will not be left behind on the walk alone if you are struggling.
