This year’s attendance on the Sunday walks was disappointing. There was a high number of days where no one was out. This was mainly due to the weather being poor on the Sunday. However, there are good steady core of walkers who make efforts to walk at other times when possible. The Sunday walks attended were very enjoyable.
We have aloss of 3 members but have also gained members this year and the club would like to make them most weclome.
Theweekends as always, were well attended. Cannich allowed some of us to bag 10 well earned munro’s! It will be remembered as a tough weekend due to the cancellation of the Loch Mullardoch means of transport. The Strathfarrars were tremendous as the weather allowed fantastic views.
Special mention goes to the honest man who handed in Donald’s brand spanking new camera to the police station after he lost it on the 1st day of the weekend.
The Torridon weekend as always never fails to impress and we were all impressed with Jean Hutton’s achievement of compleating on Fionn Beinn. We had glorious weather and celebrated on the summit with Champagne and Malt. Congratulations to you Jean!
Loch Lochy was wet and windy most of the time. The exception being the 1st day at Loch Quoich. The scenery was breath taking across the loch and everyone enjoyed the relatively easy day. The Saturday saw the club splitting up into different groups to meet different needs.
Donald would like to thank the Committee for the work put in over the last year. In particular, Dave who has worked hard at the position of treasurer.

Other Competent Business
It was agreed that the Sunday walks would revert back to the old meeting time of 8am due to the majority of members in favour of this. Exceptions to this will be any stated walks deemed by the committee to require an early start. Eg The Mamores.
It was also agreed that if the weather forecast for the Sunday was looking poor but Saturday looked promising there would be an e mail sent out on the Thursday evening asking if anyone would consider doing the proposed walk on Saturday instead. This would allow members the opportunity to walk together that weekend should the weather be atrocious on the Sunday.
There will be an Annual Dinner held in Inverkip Hotel The dates will be confirmed but are likely to be the end of January / beginning of February.
Reports and photos should be sent to our web mistress Jean Hutton who will update the website.
The Committee will meet this week to agree the walk programme and weekend trips for 2010. They will be sent out to all members thereafter.
I would like to thank everyone for their contribution to making the Lylecraigs Hillwalking Club successful
